Bags is our newest style of boxing class and is perfect for anyone who wants a more traditional heavy bag session — with a modern Newman Boxing twist.

If you don’t feel like holding the pads and want a high-energy workout focused on combos, conditioning, and skill development, this class is for you.

Sessions may include:

    •    Shadowboxing drills and movement work

    •    Heavy bag combinations and punch sequences

    •    Progressive combo development (work at your own pace)

    •    Conditioning and bodyweight exercises

This class is a great full-body workout while also challenging your coordination, timing, and boxing technique.

Suitable for all levels.

Boxing (intermediate)

Our Intermediate Boxing class is designed for regular members and developing fighters. To keep the session safe, structured, and running smoothly, this class is by coach approval only.

Training may include a mix of:

    •    Pad flow (progressing from our Pads & Bags classes)

    •    Glove drills and partner work

    •    Technical combinations and movement

    •    Controlled sparring and sparring preparation

This class is ideal for members who have built a solid foundation and are ready to take their boxing to the next level.

Youth Boxing (13-17yrs)

Tuesday & Thursday

Friday (Kids Sparring)
4:00pm - 4:45pm

Boxing for 13-17yr olds. Fun, challenging workout mixed with fundamentals of boxing. Includes pad work, bag work, glove to glove drills and self-defence. Modified to suit the individual and their skill set and confidence. Great introduction and learning before advancing to adults classes.

Box-Tech

In this class we work on our glove to glove defence, scenarios and some sparring drills depending on the skill set in the class. Please ask coach before attending and mouth guards are required.

Developing your skills as a boxer requires repetition after repetition and consistency. Technique is key, so please be aware these classes may not always be at the same pace of some of our other classes. You will be required to work with all levels, so please leave the ego at the front door!

Boxing (Sparring)

Kids Sparring - Friday

Aimed towards those who are looking to advance their skills or are thinking of competing. This class involves a lot of glove to glove drills, sparring in the ring and more combat style physical contact than our other classes. Bringing your own mouthguard is required, and 16oz gloves and Headgear are beneficial. Please have a chat to us if you think you are ready to join our sparring classes.

A boxing class open to all levels. Class styles are flexible and will vary depending on the members attending with a focus on each person's individual skillset and level of experience. Generally a bit of an 'all rounder' class including- pad drills and combinations, bag work, foot work, self-defence, partner work and some core work/bodyweight exercises- taken at your own pace. Best way to start or end the day!

Boxing training for children 8-12 yrs. Learn the basics of boxing in a fun way suited to children. A great starting point for children to develop a healthy relationship with fitness and physical activity while learning respect and new skills.
